Please be advised that our district is permitting San Benito Schools students currently learning via face-to-face (on-site) instruction the option to select remote (virtual) asynchronous instruction for the next two weeks – that is, from Wednesday, January 6, to Tuesday, January 19.
The Trustee-approved “SBCISD Return to School Plan” document has been posted on the www.sbcisd.net/reopening/ web page as a downloadable file. The objective of this plan is to aid in navigating the reestablishment of our school district to where employees, students, and families feel safe as well as to reduce the impact of COVID-19 conditions upon returning to the district. Please know that the plan is a working document and, thus, subject to subsequent/periodic updates as deemed necessary. Though the COVID-19 pandemic remains quite fluid and will definitely continue to influence how the District begins and navigates through the new school year, we thank you for your continued dedication to our students and district!
